Shiv Sena to Rebuild 90 Houses Destroyed in Pune Fire
Pune : The Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) has promised to reconstruct the 90 houses that were destroyed in a massive fire that broke out in the Chandan Nagar area of Pune.
Speaking on Friday, Shiv Sena leader Anand Goyal stated that the party has provided essential household items to the affected families on behalf of Shiv Sena.
The fire, caused by a short circuit, devastated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Colony in Chandannagar, leaving many hardworking families struggling for basic needs as their homes and belongings were completely gutted, Goyal said. To support these families, Shiv Sena stepped in and distributed necessary items, he added.
Present at the relief event were Shiv Sena city president Nana Bhangire, Chandannagar Senior Inspector Seema Thakne, city deputy chief Sunil Jadhav, retired Senior Inspector Vilas Sonde, Anand Goyal, Manoj Agrawal, Karan Agrawal, Rajesh Agrawal, Ravi Agrawal, Bala Vishwasrao, Mahendra Gaikwad, Gautam Vadavrao, Vicky Raul, Pradeep Jadhav, Sharad Nikam, Manohar Jadhav, among others.
Nana Bhangire mentioned that the party distributed daily essentials like buckets, mugs, mats, bedsheets, washing powder, toothpaste, and biscuits to the victims who lost everything in the fire.
He further informed that PuneтАЩs Shiv Sena leaders plan to meet Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to discuss rebuilding the homes destroyed by the fire and assured that every effort will be made to rehabilitate all affected families.
The relief initiative was coordinated by Anand Goyal in association with the Chandannagar┬аPolice┬аStation.
