Flights cancelled from Pune Airport amid India-Pakistan tensions

Pune, May 7 – Several flights from Pune Airport have been cancelled or temporarily stopped because of increased tension between India and Pakistan, following the start of Operation Sindoor.
Pune Airport’s Managing Director, Santosh Dhoke, said that flight operations to some cities had to be paused due to safety and security reasons. As of now, the following flights from Pune are affected:

Pune to Chandigarh

Pune to Kishangarh

Pune to Rajkot

Pune to Jodhpur
Passengers who had booked tickets on these flights have been informed through airline messages, airport announcements, and online updates.
The airport and airlines are helping all affected travelers by offering full refunds or new flight bookings, as per rules set by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Airport staff are also available to assist passengers with any other needs.
